How accessible is this website?
We have designed and built this website to comply to at least Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standard. However, we know some parts of this website do not at the moment meet this standard and are not fully accessible:
- The main site navigation can be difficult to use on mobile or tablet devices for keyboard and screen reader users.
- Error messages are not always announced to screen reader software for the form on Become a Research Helper.
- Some of the colours used for button focus states and graphic elements in the carousels don’t have sufficient colour contrast with their backgrounds.
We are working to fix these issues.
